Arizona RHP Julio Sicairos Joins California Grizzlies Baseball for 2025-2026 Season

California Grizzlies Baseball is excited to announce the signing of Julio Sicairos, a 2025 graduate and right-handed pitcher from Boulder Creek High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Standing at 5’11” and 175 lbs, Sicairos adds depth and potential to an already strong Grizzlies pitching staff.

Julio brings a competitive edge and strong mound presence, showing flashes of pitch ability and a feel for multiple pitches. With continued development in the Grizzlies’ system, he is expected to make an immediate impact on the program’s rotation and bullpen depth.

Head Coach Zack Novis shared, “Julio has a ton of upside and a great attitude. He knows how to compete, and is going to benefit greatly from the structure and daily development we offer. We’re excited to have him in the mix.”

Director of Baseball Operations Casey Dill added, “Julio’s work ethic and intent stood out right away. He has the frame, the mindset, and the tools to take a big step forward in our environment. He’s a great addition to our staff and a strong cultural fit for what we’re building here at California Grizzlies.”

Strength Coach Dwayne Green also weighed in: “Julio has a solid base to work with, and I’m looking forward to helping him fine-tune his body to become more explosive on the mound. He’s coachable, eager to learn, and shows flashes of what could be a very effective college athlete.”
