California Post Grad Signs Super Utility Athlete Wylder May for 2025-2026 Season

California Post Grad Baseball is proud to announce the commitment of Wylder May, a 2025 graduate from Reno High School (NV). A true super-utility player, May brings a rare combination of athleticism, versatility, and skill to the CPG roster, with the ability to contribute at virtually every position on the field—including behind the plate and on the mound.

At 5’10” and 145 lbs, the left-handed hitter/right-handed thrower features a standout defensive profile with a 1.95 pop time, 79 mph catching velocity, and an impressive 90 mph top outfield velocity. His 7.1 60-yard dash and consistent infield velocity in the mid-80s highlight his athletic ability and arm strength, making him a dynamic defensive presence across the field.

“Wylder is the definition of a do-it-all player,” said Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations. “He can catch, play the outfield, handle infield reps, and even pitch when needed. That kind of versatility is extremely valuable at the next level. He’s athletic, tough, and brings something to the table in every part of the game.”

Head Coach Zack Novis added, “What stands out about Wylder is his work ethic and willingness to do whatever the team needs. His numbers speak for themselves—1.95 pop time, 90 mph arm from the outfield—and he’s still just scratching the surface of what he can become. He’s going to be a huge asset for us.”

With strong tools, a team-first mentality, and the ability to impact the game in every facet, Wylder May is set to be a cornerstone piece of California Post Grad’s 2025-2026 roster.
