California Post Grad Welcomes Speedy Outfielder Owen Tessier for 2025-2026 Season
California Post Grad Baseball is excited to announce the addition of Owen Tessier, a 2025 graduate and four-year varsity starter at Woodland Christian High School. Tessier will join the CPG program for the upcoming 2025-2026 season, bringing with him an impressive combination of speed, consistency, and leadership.
A career .320+ hitter, Tessier has been a steady offensive force throughout his high school career, tallying 11 doubles, 2 triples, a home run, and over 60 stolen bases. With a 6.8 60-yard dash, Tessier covers serious ground in the outfield and is expected to make an immediate impact on both sides of the ball.
“Owen is the kind of athlete you build a team around,” said Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations. “He plays the game with heart, speed, and discipline. His ability to impact the game defensively, offensively, and on the bases makes him a dangerous all-around player. More importantly, he’s a high-character young man who will be a leader within our program.”
Head Coach Zack Novis added, “We couldn’t be more excited about what Owen brings to the table. He’s a grinder, a team-first guy, and someone who leads by example. From day one, we expect him to help set the tone for this incoming class. He’s the type of player who makes your program better in every way.”
With strong tools, next-level speed, and leadership qualities, Owen Tessier is poised to be a key contributor to the continued success of California Post Grad Baseball.
