Minnesota RHP Kole Wagner Commits to California Post Grad Baseball
California Post Grad is proud to announce the commitment of Kole Wagner, a 2025 graduate and right-handed pitcher from New Prague High School in Minnesota. Standing at 6’3”, 200 lbs, Wagner brings a strong frame, developing arsenal, and high-level academic profile to the CPG pitching staff.
Wagner is coming off an impressive junior season where he posted a 3.5 ERA, striking out 30 batters in just 20 innings while issuing only 6 walks. Opponents hit just .235 against him, thanks in part to his sharp breaking ball and a fastball that sits in the low to mid 80s with good movement and command.
“Kole has the frame and foundation to become a high-level pitcher,” said Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations. “His numbers speak for themselves, but what excites us the most is his upside. As he continues to develop his body and fine-tune his mechanics, we believe he’ll become a key piece of our rotation. He’s a smart, coachable kid with a great work ethic.”
Head Coach Zack Novis added, “Kole’s ability to compete in the zone and generate swing-and-miss stuff is what caught our attention. He’s already shown great command and poise, and with continued development, he’s going to be a very tough arm to face. We’re excited to get to work with him and watch him grow into his full potential.”
Off the field, Kole excels academically with a 3.8 GPA and a 27 ACT, embodying the type of student-athlete California Post Grad values.
