Power Bat Manny LaChappa Signs with California Post Grad for 2025-2026 Season

California Post Grad is thrilled to announce the signing of Manny LaChappa, a 2025 graduate and two-year varsity standout from Orange Glen High School (Escondido, CA). Known for his strength at the plate and versatility on the field, LaChappa brings an impact bat and a physical presence to the CPG lineup.

At 6’0”, 220 lbs, Manny is a true corner infielder with the ability to contribute on the mound as well. Over his high school career, he’s posted a .330+ batting average and a .455 on-base percentage, collecting 9 doubles, 4 triples, and a home run. His ability to hit for both average and power makes him a threat in the middle of the order.

“We’re really excited about what Manny brings to our program,” said Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations. “He’s a strong, physical hitter with a great approach at the plate. His ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap is something we know will play well at the next level. He’s also a competitor who adds depth defensively and on the mound.”

Head Coach Zack Novis added, “Manny is a big bat with serious upside. What stands out to us is not just the raw power, but his ability to get on base and be productive in different ways. He’s going to be a key contributor in our lineup and someone we’re excited to help continue developing.”

With his size, tools, and competitive edge, Manny LaChappa adds firepower to California Post Grad’s 2025-2026 roster and is expected to be a difference-maker in the program.
